heavenly villagio marzano tomato paste
- Preheat oven to 475°F.
- Toss the mini san marzano tomatoes with a little olive oil and salt.
- Roast at 475°F for 15–20 minutes, until the mini san marzano tomatoes are dark and caramelized.
- Transfer roasted mini san marzano tomatoes and juice to a stock pot — add 1 cup water.
- Reduce on low temperature for 15 minutes.
- While still warm, purée mini san marzano tomatoes in a blender until smooth.
- Freeze in small containers (such as an ice cube tray).
